Ivy Social

Ivy Social will be my final internship before I graduate, I started the internship in August 2022, I am with Ivy Social once a week, on Wednesdays currently completing my 100 hours. My roles within the agency include: sitting in on meetings, content writing such as blogs and I have also been completing a bigger project of creating an influencer spreadsheet, which I do a little each week. During my time so far at Ivy Social, I have worked closely with the Ivy team, who are all happy to answer any questions I may have, however, I report back to Danielle Hatch and Emily Coates as they are my supervisors.

Influencer research

Throughout my time at Ivy Social, a larger project I have worked on is an influencer state-by-state spreadsheet, researching influencers and categorising them the type of influencer i.e. family, food, fashion, skincare, etc. I also have included their follower count, email, name, Instagram handle, and a profile picture.

I did this on Air Table, a spreadsheet platform Ivy Social introduced me to. I have included a wide range of influencers, micro, nano, etc. In the beginning, I found the influencers by whom I already knew and then went to those users’ followers and following.

They're a lot of influencers out there, however finding ones that had their state included in their bio was definitely a challenge. I created this spreadsheet for the Ivy Social team, as they noted it would be beneficial for the team when a client they are working with wants to work with influencers.

School holiday blog

Content writing is something I do quite regularly at Ivy Social, this specific blog post was written for a client’s school holiday campaign involving healthy snacks for kids.

Writing blogs is something that I had never done before prior to Ivy Social, and I have found I really enjoy it.

Artists blogs

This blog content was created for a campaign that focused on ‘being your personal best’ multiple artists were involved in this campaign, however, I got to write two of their blogs.

For this blog content, I also had to transcribe audio interviews that were held for the purpose of writing the blogs which gave me all the insight I needed to break the interviews down and create the blog headings and content.
